Tea is Always a Ceremony

"Tea is always a ceremony. For this reason, it must be approached in a certain way. Whether you're preparing a cup of tea simply because you're tired and need a lift or planning a tea party in the garden, there are certain things that are constants. The surroundings of the tea ceremony are almost as important as the tea itself." -- Alexandra Stoddard, in "Alexandra Stoddard's Tea Celebrations"

Today I am sharing my Cabbage Rose Mason's ironstone by  Crabtree and Evelyn

This is a heavy silver plated tray I found at a second hand store for $8.00

Thank you for stopping by and

Have a lovely day.

Hello Clara,
Your Mason's Blue and White is gorgeous! It looks so lovely how you have set it up too.
Tea is always a ceremony to me too. I love to take the time to set up my tray and then have a good sit down and just relax. Tea is so good for centering : )

Hello - what a beautiful website.
I have a set of this blue china also. I was just looking for more pieces and didn't realize how scarce or pricy is has become. Was planning a breakfast on the porch with it and now am almost afraid to use it! My friend has a store that sells Crabtree and we were looking at the china the other day and she said one of the huge mistakes she had made was not purchasing it for herself when she was selling it.

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I love to hear from you. ~Clara~
