Under Glass- A Cloche Party

For each new morning with its light, For rest and shelter of the night, For health and food, for love and friends, For everything Thy goodness sends. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

This little quail has been in a nest, nestled in my Christmas tree.

This is my first cloche and it covers my wedding cake topper which is 42 years old now.

Asiatic Pheasant  brown transferware. I found it at TJMaxx for $3 and $4 a piece. The cloche covers a birds nest I found at a shop in the upstate.

I like this one but it looks a little bit more like a winter decoration.( Maybe Christmas in July.)

Same birds nest and an iron bird from Tuesday Morning.

Johnson Brothers Chintz teacup.

I am joining Marti for A Summer Cloche Party. thank you for stopping by.

Hi Clara, birds and nests are among my favorite things to display under my cloches. You have done a beautiful job on all of thhem. I especially love the brown nest next to the transferware. What a fabulous find at T.J's for a great price.

Your wedding topper is drop dead gorgeous and what a brilliant way to protect it.

Your cloches are lovely! I especially love the idea of your wedding topper under a cloche. Wish I had thought to do that 30+ years ago.
