The Ball Jar

No matter what, no matter where.
It's always home when love is there.

Hello everyone, look what I found at the second hand store... a pretty aqua blue vintage Ball canning jar...rust and all. Some how I think the rust adds to it's beauty.

My last hydrangea bloom seems to compliment it well don't you think?

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your week.

It is beautiful! And you are right, a little rust goes a long way to beautifying any shabby girl space! :)

It is perfect and that hydrangea is just the right touch to make it totally favulous!

The hydrangea bloom goes very well with your new blue canning jar. Yours must be an older/different version than the ones I found this winter. Mine have the old metal screw on tops that too are very rusty.
I think the people selling them know how much us gals like them as they are very expensive at the antique barn here, and don't last long on the shelves.

I have to chuckle to myself when my friends pass over things with rust and I get excited when I find rust. My husband no longer asks me if I am "going to clean that thing up".

Your photos are lovely.
