A Fall Nesting

Northern Farm
"The leaves fall, the wind blows, and the farm country slowly
changes from the summer cottons into its winter wools."
~ Henry Beston

Hello everyone,
I wanted a fall centerpiece for my kitchen table and after visiting Kristin's blog here I was so inspired by her rooster and hen centerpieces, that I decided to try making one of  my own.

I used my fat hen casserole dish. posted here in an earlier post here  I was very happy with the way it turned out. She makes me smile and that's what it's all about.

This one pumpkin fell over and I didn't notice it until after I took the pictures. It's fixed now.

Thank you for stopping by ~Clara

What a great idea for a centerpiece. Yours is very pretty. I'll have to do this for sure.

Very lovely and cheerful. I love roosters and chickens. I have a friend who has exotic chickens that produce her family's eggs. Her husband built a hen house that matched their own Victorian house. How cute is that? Keep blogging!

Hi Clara: He looks so cute. Very happy and colorful little face to sit down to breakfast with. I wanted to thank you for your kind comments to me. I tried to reply as usual but for some reason it came back to me as undeliverable. That's OK, because I got the chance to see your cute chicken centerpiece..Happy Wednesday..Judy
