A Pink Tea

The Milkweed

"The milkweed pods are breaking,
And the bits of silken down
Float off upon the autumn breeze
Across the meadows brown."

Cecil Cavendish

Hello everyone. I am joining Sandi for A Pink Tea for Tea Time Tuesday and
look what I found at my local tea room...
A Rose Chintz luncheon set. by Johnson Bros.
Now when I have tea I will think of Sandi, our lovely host.

I found this precious new teapot at the Squirrels nest. I just love the name of that shop.

Mark on the bottom of teapot

The teapot goes pretty well with the Rose Chintz I think. Even though it doesn't have any roses.

I am having Chamomile tea today

Pink Mexican Petunias from the garden

Strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream  in a June Rose bowl.
Syracuse China (made in America)

Thank you for stopping by and have a nice day. ~Clara

Very pretty! Mixing & matching makes for a more interesting setting rather than everything match-matchy.

Hello Clara
Your new Rosé Chintz tea set goes quite nicely with the tea pot. The fresh fruit looks yummy and the petunias are a nice shade of pink for our theme this week.

Your teapot does go well with that Rose Chintz. Oh, how I love that china. I don't have it but my sister-in-law does and I never, ever tire of looking at it. So, so "purdy"!
