A Touch Of Green

"St. Patrick's Day is here, you see.
We'll pick some shamrocks, one, two, three.
We'll count the leaves and look them over,
And maybe find a four-leafed clover.
I'll sew green buttons on my vest,
Green for St. Patrick is the best.
I'll wear a green hat, very high,
And dance a jig--at least I'll try!"

Nice contrast of the green mums with the white jug. And as always, a sweet poem included.

The green flowers in your pitcher are my favorite from the grocers this time of year!!! After the long dreary gray days of Winter, here on the Prairie, their vivid hue stirs the hope for Spring deep inside my being!!!
Lovely photos!!!

I love the simplicity of this! I have a pitcher quite similar and the green --mums?--are favorites of mine. They last and last and make such a great accent to a dinner table or just anywhere.

Sweet little rhyme and charming little white pitcher. Those little green pom pom mums are perfection.

I loved the rhyme and it made me think of when I was very young and we learned to dance in school. Yes - we learned to jig!

Hello Clara
Isn't that such a lovely rhyme!?
My darling father (sadly long gone) was born in Limerick so I've heard lots of lovely rhymes over the years - but not this one!!
Happy St Pats Day to you too!
